This paper introduces the knitting process of the polyurethane inserted elastic fabric on the RH116 rib machine through the modification to the polyurethane fiber yarn feeder. The device parameters, raw material data and fabric specifications are analyzed, and advantages and disadvantages of two kinds of modifications to the feeder are discussed. It can be concluded through the trial knitting that all the physical parameters can meet the requirements. In addition, it is found that the multi-functional RH116 rib machine can create much more economic benefit.
