2007年7月的第一周被媒体和乐迷称为声乐界的黑色周，在这个星期里，相继有两位相当有分量的女高音离开我们，她们分别是美国女高音贝弗利·希尔斯和法国女高音雷吉纳·克莱斯宾。

OUTLINE/The first week of July 2007 was a tragic time for the operatic world.Two famous sopranos left our word：American soprano Beverly Sills and French soprano Regine Crespin.Belle Silverman （Beverly Sills）,opera singer and administrator,died in New York on 2 July.The acclaimed Brooklynborn coloratura soprano was more popular with the American public than any other opera singer .Hailed as ＂America＇Queen of Opera,＂Sils had a career that spanned four decades,delighting millions of opera lovers through her performances on stage ,recordings and broadcasts.Regine Cresin ,a dramatic soprano who became one of the most acclaimed singers France produced in the 20^th century,died on 23 July in Paris at age 80.Frech President Nicolas Sarkozy paid tribute to the late singer and said ：＂Through her voice and her talent but also through her humor and her generosity,Regine Crespin was a great ambassador for Frecnc culture,She leaves us today but we will always remember her enduring performances.＂
