HPLC Analysis of a 16% Phoxim-Thiram SE for Seed Coating

Quantitative analysis was applied to analyze the active ingredients in a 16% Phoxim-Thiram SE for seed coating by HPLC. This method uses a kromasil C8 reverse phase column, a variable wavelength UV detector , a mobile phase of methanolwater-tetrahydrofuran, and an external standard. The standard, deviations were 0. 038 and 0. 052 for Phoxim and Thiram repectively, while the coefficients of variation were 0. 626 and 0. 516%. The average recoveries were 99.5 and 99.7% separately.
