The paper proposes the application procedure of the gravity model,analyzes the method of specification and parameter selection and the calibration and validation method of the parameters.At last,the problems and solution which are often encountered during the practicable procedure are introduced,in order to lay the foundation for farther research and discussion on relative problems.
