摘要
The N-S equation in the voticity-stream function form was solved numerically withfinite difference method for flow past two- dimensional cylinder. The generation of symmetricvortex and secondary votex and the evolution of Karman vortex street with time progressare numerica1ly simulated in detail. Different velocity types of wake flow are also calculatedand their linear stablity properties are analyzed. Somemethods of controlling wake flow inengineering are introduced according to the theory of absolutely and convectively instablity.
