Relationship of the abilities and qualities of supervisor to graduate education

导师在研究生的成长、发展中扮演着一个重要的角色。研究生的扩招,社会对研究生的要求的变化,给导师在研究生的教育中提出了新的课题。通过结合目前的研究生教育,提出了作为研究生的导师,应该具备较高的业务水平以及严谨的科研态度之外,还要更加关注研究生的心理需要以及他们未来发展的需求。

Supervisor plays an important role in the development of postgraduate students. Currently, some new problems are facing the supervisor due to expansion of enrolment and change of social requirements of graduate students. As a honorable teacher, one should keep improving in his field and simultaneously put an eye on the growth and development of his students. Combined with the current postgraduate education, several aspects to which a supervisor should pay attention and try to improve are presented in this paper.
