摘要
数学教育者与专业数学家之间的长期论战,以及对美国数学教育现状的反思,使得寻求数学课程的一致性成为美国数学教育发展的必然.NCTM发布的《幼儿园学龄前到八年级数学课程焦点:寻求一致性》呈现了学生从幼儿园学龄前到8年级每个年级应该学习和掌握的数学概念与技能.这为美国数学教育的健康发展提供了崭新的思路.同时也为我国的数学教育课程改革提供了一定的启示.
The controversy between the mathematical educationalists and the professional mathematicians, reflecting American mathematical status in quo, made it necessary to quest for coherence of curriculum in mathematics. National Council of Teacher of Mathematics issued the report “Curriculum Focal Points for Prekindergarten through Grade 8 Mathematics: A Quest for Coherence” lists the mathematical focal points in every grade from Prekindergarten to Grade 8, It offers a new way for healthy development of mathematics, at the same time, this offer some illumination on our reform of curriculum in mathematics.
