By analyzing the characteristics and importance of computer elementary education in non- computer science major of university, the article is to raise some teaching thinking and method about computer elementary education, and to reform and search initially for teaching content and method. The aim is to improve students＂ ability of using and bringing new ideas, to stimulate students＂ interests of study,to cultivate students＂ initiation and to let them meet the need of rapid development of society.
