大学生思想政治教育是关系人才素质,因此也关系民族未来的重要工作,高校教育中必须给予高度重视。加强和改进大学生思想政治教育,要继续提高认识,要明确其首要任务,要确立以人为本的教育理念,要弘扬优秀民族文化传统,要建设高水平的政工队伍,要优化育人环境,要创造新的载体,要发挥教师教书育人的作用,要研究新形式下的新课题,只有做好以上这些工作,才能更深入、更有成效地开展思想政治教育工作。

University students＇ thinking and political education concerns the quality of talents and an important job concerning the future of a nation; therefore, highly importance has to be attached to it in university education. For the purposes of strengthening and improving university students~ thinking and political education, the under- standing should be enhanced further, the primary task should be made clear, the human-oriented education concept should be established, the outstanding national cultural tradition should be enhanced and glorified, the high-leveled political work troop should be developed, the environment of nurturing persons should be optimized, the new carrier should be created, the function of teachers＇ teaching and nurturing persons should be developed and the new assign- ment for study should be researched under new circumstances. Only after these tasks mentioned above have been done well, can the job of thinking and political education be more deeply and effectively carried out.
