The New Concept of Materialities and the Substance

通过对物和物质的分类界定，借助维度区域概念，利用哲学、心理学、生理学、数学、物理学等领域的结果，尝试对现代建筑理论和建筑设计以一种新的方式进行“定量”分析，得以发现建筑发展的本质规律；并由此提出：“物”的设计概念向“物质”的设计概念过渡和重视人的第一感知的建筑是建筑设计的新时代。

Basing on the definition and the classification of materialities and the substance and taking advantage of the achievements in philosophy, psychology, physiology, maths, physics and so on, the author tries to make a 'quantitative' analysis of modern theory of architecture and architectural design in a new way and then proposes a view that the shift of architectural designing concept from materialities to the substance. And the emphasis placed on man's first perception is the new age of architectural design.
