This paper summarizes the experimental study in the respect that sound absorption is affected by such factors as chair types, cushion materials,spaces between rows in theaters and the audiences' clothe changes etc. The rules concerned are instinctive in controlling the reverberation time when a theater is newly built or rebuilt.
