谈术语本土化、规范化与国际化

术语的主要工作是术语本土化、术语规范化和术语国际化。术语本土化就是将外语中的科技术语引入到本族语中,引进的方式有意译、音译、形译以及一些变式,但是意译优先。术语规范化主要有三项任务:对术语的系统梳理、规范歧异术语和术语关联。术语国际化有两重含义:术语输出和术语一致。术语输出既要靠科技事业的发展,又应有自觉的战略筹划。

The main work on terms includes three aspects： the nativelization of terms, the standardization of terms, the internationalization of terms. The nativelization of terms is introducing foreign scientific terms into native languages. The methods of such introduction include the translation on the basis of meaning, pronunciation and writing forms of foreign terms and other translating patterns. Among them, the translation based on meaning is preferential. There are three pieces of work in the standardization of terms： the systemic arrangement of terms, the standardization of ambiguous and synonymous terms, the founding of association among terms. The internationalization of terms refers to the export and coherence of terms. The export of terms depends not only the development of science and technology but also the conscious strategic plans.
