虚拟旅游是运用三维实景展示,将现实中的旅游场景制作成用于互联网、多媒体、触摸屏等多种载体进行展示的电子文件,可以按固定路线或自选路线从不同角度观赏,获得身临其境般的体验。本文阐述了虚拟旅游产生的背景及其意义,分析总结了虚拟旅游的主要研究范围和技术难点,并对未来的研究方向提出建议。

Virtual tourism is a digital file of tourist landscape for three-dimensional display in Internet、multimedia、touch-screen and the other carriers. We can watch the landscape from different angles in fixed or self-selected lines. The paper discusses the development and significance of the virtual tourism, generalizes and analyses its research contents and technological key points. At the end, several suggestions are put forward for future researches.
