摘要
席勒把艺术的本质规定为"审美假象",由此把艺术和实在对立起来,试图通过艺术的理想性使人们摆脱现实生活中物质欲望和权力机制的束缚,修复人性,实现人的平等交往和自由。席勒的"审美假象"论是对现实和人类文明弊端的深刻批判,但其美学上的激进主张恰恰折射出其社会实践层面上的保守立场。
Schiller defined the essence of art as aesthetic illusion. He set art against the reality and attempted to advocate the idealness of art to help people get rid of the restraints of material desire and power mechanism in everyday life, achieve freedom and the equal association eventually. The theory of aesthetic illusion was a deep critic of reality and human civilization, but this radical aesthetic viewpoint reflected the conservative stand of social practice.
