本文主要论述利用GSM移动通信网络中提供的短消息业务进行水情信息的传输，为水情系统的信息传输寻找了一个新的途径与方式。作者首先介绍了水情遥测系统的各组成部分，然后提出了利用GPRS网络的短信息进行水情传输的解决方案。

This paper mainly deals with the hydrological information transmission by using the Short Message Service in GSM mobile communication network, which provides a new approach to information transmission of the hydrological regimen system. This paper firstly introduces the components of the hydrology telemetering system, and then proposes a solution to transmission of the hy- drological regimen information by using GPRS.
