In order to explore the feature of psychotic patient's homicide behavior, 92 psychotic patients and 83 mentally normal subjects were investigated in their homicide behavior. Significant difference was found in the criminal age, offender number, objects being killed, place, accomplices, homicide motive, preparation for offense and suicide after homicide between patients and mentally normal subjects. The difference was related to the age of psychosis onset, symptoms and pathological alternations of the patients. The result also showed that a homicider tended to suffer from mental disorders, if he/she was female, or killed his/her close relatives, or offended alone.
