Overall Evaluation and Characteristic Analysis on the Progress of Urbanization in Xinjiang

新疆的城市化进程近年来虽然呈加速态势,但它是在工业化水平较低的背景下发展的。本文实证分析说明二者之间没有直接的因果关系,新疆的城市化进程与农民的富裕程度呈正相关,与城市居民收入增长关系密切;在城市的产出与消费中,城市化进程更倾向于消费。这些特征对新疆社会经济发展的影响,以及对城市化进程的可持续发展的影响都需要引起高度重视。

The progress of urbanization progress in Xinjiang is speeding up recently. The progress of industrialization and urbanization have been paralleling in Xinjiang. The background of urbanization in Xinjiang was lower level industrialization. Empirical analysis displays there doesnt exist the causality effect between industrialization and urbanization in Xinjiang. There were positive correlation between urbanization and peasant affluence. The progress of urbanization in Xinjiang takes on consumption patterns in terms of urban input and output. Durative developing characters of urbanization in Xinjiang would be highly coneerned.
