我国是一个农业大国,农村人口占70%以上,农民的身心健康和切身利益是否得到保障,关系到我国的现代化建设和社会稳定。为了提高农民健康水平,加快统筹城乡发展,必须进一步完善我国新型农村合作医疗制度。本文就如何促进新型农村合作医疗制度的可持续发展进行了一些思考。

China typically is an agricultural nation, the population living in rural areas accounts for more than 70% of all. That whether peasants＇ physical and mental health got guaranteed is related to the stability and modernization in China. In order to improve peasants＇ overall health condition and promote the trade - off development between the urban and the rural, we have to better the new model of cooperative medical care system in rural areas further. The paper focuses on how to promote the sustainable development regarding to the new model of cooperative medical care system in rural areas, and puts forward some suggestions and countermeasures for these various problems and contradictions.
