基于内容的图像检索日益成为当今图像检索研究的热点。该论文在论述基于颜色直方图的图像检索方法的基础上,将图像重叠分块,提出了基于颜色分布的图像检索方法。最后实现了基于颜色直方图与基于颜色分布的两种图像检索方法的图像检索原型系统,并对实验结果进行了详细的分析和比较。

Nowadays,Content-based Image Retrieval is more and more becoming the focus of the Image Retrieval. This paper gives an image retrieval method based on color histogram. According to this, the paper gives an improved image retrieval method based on Color Distributing, which overlapped sub-regions to get color histogram in each region. In the end it implements the Image Retrieved Model System using two image retrieval methods based on color histogram and Color Distributing, and analyses the results.
