歧义生成机制探析

On the Occurring Mechanism of Ambiguity

传统的歧义研究大致分为静态和动态两种。前者在探讨歧义的产生时强调语言因素的影响而忽视非语言因素;后者则把研究重心放在非语言因素上而很少考虑语言因素。其结果是两者均不能合理地解释歧义的产生。因此,这里对歧义的生成进行重新考查,结论是:歧义的产生是一个动态的由潜在到现实的过程;歧义的生成是语言因素和非语言因素共同作用的结果。

Traditional study on ambiguity can be generally divided into dynamic. In exploring the causes of ambiguity, static studies mainly concern two types： static and linguistic factors while dynamic studies usually focus on non-linguistic factors. Neither static nor dynamic studies can illustrate ambiguity reasonably. The present thesis looks back at the weaknesses of the previous study om ambiguity and than defines ambiguity in a new way. Based on the new denefition of ambiguity, the thesis examines how ambiguity occurs.
