The court-style poetry was created by Xu Chi,the teacher of Xiao Gang,Emperor Jianwen,who thought highly of Xu.Xu＇s unique literary thoughts influenced Xiao deeply and accelerated the emergence of court-style poetry.Xu＇s topics break away from the limitations of yongming-style poetry which focuses on describing scenery.His poems are innovative,combining the delicate feature of yongming-style poetry and the lyrical feature of yuanjia-style poetry.His flowery diction initiated the magnificent style of court-style poetry.
