信念是世界观的本质部分,是人对自然和社会的真实存在及其发展规律的真理性认识。信念具有坚信感、稳定性、动力性。信念的形成过程比较复杂。从个体的情感、兴趣与需要出发,牢固掌握科学知识,运用正确世界观,培养坚强的意志品质,是信念形成的主要途径。科学正确的信念对个人和社会有决定性的影响,它能促进人格的完善,给人以信心、勇气和毅力,能主导人生的重大抉择。所以,当代大学生应当确立正确的道德信念、人生信念和政治信念。

Belief,the essential part of world outlook,is the human being＇s understanding about the true existence and the development law of nature and society.Belief is characterized by sense of firm believing,stability,motive force and complexity.A scientific and correct belief has a decisive influence upon individuals and society in that it can facilitate perfection of personality,bring about confidence,bravery and perseverance,guide one＇s decision making and create the intermediate force for society.The formation mechanism of belief includes grasping of knowledge,personal emotion,interest and strong will.The main task of developing college students＇ belief lies in the establishment of correct morality,life belief as well as political belief.
