一种基于4×4子块特征的H.264/AVC快速帧内预测算法 被引量:4

摘要 最新的视频压缩标准H.264/AVC具有极高的压缩率,但由于其算法极其复杂,编码时间较长,无法达到实时应用的要求。本文针对其中4×4子块预测算法的特点,提出了一种基于子块自身特征的快速预测算法。该算法利用子块自身的特征,同时考虑到实际预测情况,减少每次预测方向的计算量,从而降低了算法的复杂度,提高了压缩速度。实验结果表明,本文提出的算法在码率只有少许增加的情况下,编码速度提高了18.98%,PSNR值基本不变。 H.264/AVC is the newest video coding standard with high compression efficiency. Because it will take a long time in coding with extremely complex algorithm, it can not achieve real-time application. In this paper, according to the feature of intra-frame prediction algorithm, a fast algorithm based on feature of 4×4 sub-block is proposed. This algorithm makes use of the real condition and selecting one of nine prediction directions. Therefore, it can reduce coding time dramatically. Experimental results show that the compression time of proposed algorithm is 18.98% less than that of H.264/AVC, at the expense of little quality degradation.
