Another Discussion on teaching Fresh Students "Integrated Skills of English" in Newly Promoted University Based on China Quality Open Course Ware

受到国家精品课程网上资源启示后,文章提出《综合英语教程》教学中语言教学与文化教学并重、英语文化教学与汉语文化教学并重、坚持讲授法为主、适合选择"写长法"四个教学理念。延续和补充了在此之前作者曾从教师、学生和师生教学过程三个因素来探讨的新升格本科院校新生《综合英语教程》的教学探讨。

Knowing the China Quality Open Course Ware, the author thinks teachers should pay attention to the following when they teach fresh students the course ＂integrated skills of English＂ in newly promoted university： lay equal stress on linguistics and culture; lay equal stress on western culture and Chinese culture; take ＂method of instruction＂ as the dominant teaching approach; choose an applicable method ＂the Length Approach＂ for the teaching. The article is a deeper thought after ＂A discussion on teaching fresh students ＇integrated skills of English＇ in newly promoted university based on one of teaching experiences of Zhang Dao-zhen＂, another passage written by the same author several months before.
