Especially for mini- compact excavators, it is crucial to optimally utilize the available power within a restricted installation space. At the same time, end users place exacting demands on the fine control, maneuverability and precision of the machine. What counts for the manufacturer is primarily cost reductions through the simplification of hydraulics and greater flexibility for auxiliary functions. These requirements led to the development of the single-circuit system by Rexroth with variable displacement pump and a closed center directional valve.
