略论“蒲松龄式”讽刺艺术风格

A brief discussion on Pu Songling Style satirical art

早在"讽刺之书"《儒林外史》出现之前,蒲松龄文言短篇小说集《聊斋志异》里已有不少堪称精品的讽刺短篇。在这些小说中,蒲松龄采取了既不同于西方讽刺小说的笔法,又异于中国其他讽刺小说的艺术手法,即把中国古代的俳优讲说滑稽故事、讽刺喜剧、笑话以及相声艺术诸种手法掺合进小说,因而形成蒲松龄式的独特讽刺风格。《聊斋志异》中的许多篇什,都可以当作一幕幕讽刺喜剧来读。

Before the appearance of the satirical work Ru Lin Wai Shi, Pu Songling＇ s short story collection Liao Zhai Zhi Yi in classical Chinese had already presented many satirical short stories that may be rated as excellent works. In these stories, Pu Songling adopted a kind of writing style different both from that of western satirical stories and from that of other Chinese satirical stories. He syncretized ancient Chinese funny stories, satirical comedies, jokes as well as comic dialogues in the stories. As a result, a unique satirical style-Pu Songling style came into being. Many stories in Liao Zhai Zhi Yi may be read as acts of satirical comedies.
