民国时期的工业化促进了长三角地区的社会变迁,商品化的家庭手工业生产逐渐没落,工厂的设立吸引着乡村女性进入大机器工业中。这种社会变迁改变了女性的社会角色,也提高了女性的社会地位;同时,女性在大机器工业化下的生存,亦面临着种种严峻的挑战。

The industrialization of the period of the Republic of China brought about the social changes in the triangular area of the Yangtze River. The commercialized production of household handicrafts gradually dedined and factories attracted rural women into industry with big machines. The social changes changed women＇s social role and promoted their social status. In the meantime, the survival of women under the industrialization with big machines was faced with various severe challenges.
