The design on automatic production line for barrel packaging of welding wires based on principle of reverse seeking engineering was introduced. The structural characteristics and working principle of this production line were briefly narrated. By considering the designing habits of industries of machinery and automatic control in our country, and aiming at the realization of this kind of packaging equipment of welding wire to be domestically produced, partial improvements and innovations on the production line introduced from abroad were made out.
