摘要
矢量网络分析仪经常用来测量射频、微波器件的特性,但传统意义上的矢网只能用于测量被测件在连续波激励下的响应。而在有些情况下,比如待测件的耐受功率受限,或待测件只能在脉冲激励下工作等,就需要进行脉冲测量。连续波信号在频域中为一条谱线,而脉冲信号在频域中为无穷多条谱线,这就对利用窄带接收的矢网形成了挑战。本文通过分析AV3620矢网的工作原理,介绍了如何配置AV3620矢网,从而正确地测量脉冲激励下待测件的S参数。
The vector network analyzers (VNA) are used to measure the characteristic of the RF&MW devices, but traditionally they can only measure the DUT by continuous wave(CW) incident. In some cases, the total power input to the DUT must be limited, or the DUT only operate under pulsed conditions etc, the pulsed measurements are needed. A single CW signal should be a single spectral tone in the frequency domain, but a single pulsed signal would contain an infinite number of spectral tones in the frequency domain, which make it challenging to utilize a standard narrowband VNA. By analyzing the principle of the VNA, this paper introduces how to collocate the AV3620 VNA, and measure the s-parameter under the pulsed signal correctly.
