In Search of the Emperor Liuan's Mausoleum

西汉时期全国各地诸侯王分封很多,由于早期人为或后期建设的破坏,王陵区的范围大多不甚清楚。已发掘的六安王陵区一号汉墓,墓冢封土巨大,墓室保存着完整的"黄肠题凑"木结构,双椁重棺,并附有车马坑、陪葬墓、陪葬坑等。像六安国这样分布集中,保存完整,并且能与4代诸侯王世系记载相对应的王陵区,在现存的西汉诸侯王陵中尚不多见。因此六安双墩一号汉墓和王陵区的保护问题受到了社会广泛关注。尽管目前该墓的保护问题尚未形成最终意见,但作为汉代六安国历史的见证和珍贵的历史文化遗产,其保护工作已经得到了政府和专业部门的特别重视。

Many feudal princes were enfeoffed in different parts of the country during the period of Xihan Dynasty. Due to damage caused by human destruction in the early stage and construction in the later stage,the exact area occupied by most of mausoleums are not quite clear.The excavated Han Tomb No.1 of the Emperor Liuan's Mausoleum with a huge earth mound conserved a complete wooden structure named'Huang Chang Ti Cou'with imposing scale.Inner and outer coffins were kept in the tomb and chariot pits,satellite tombs as well as accessory pits were attached to the tomb.Among the existing mausoleums for feudal princes of Xihan Dynasty,it is rare to find such a centrally-distributed and well-preserved imperial mausoleum which corresponds to the record of the feudal princes'lineage of four generations. Accordingly,the whole society has attached great importance to the preservation of Shuangdun No.1 Han Tomb of Liuan's mausoleum and imperial mausoleum.As the witness of history of Liuan in Han Dynasty and treasured historical and cultural heritage,the Liuan Mausoleum has received special attention from the government and specialty departments although final validation opinion concerning the conservation of the mausoleum has not come into being.
