the thesis, based on a psychological analysis and countermeasurs these for college students who suffer from internet addictive disorder （IAD）, believes that lAD mainly results from four aspects, patients＇ special psychological need in the period of undergraduate, lacking of ways to release their emotions, passive stress reaction, and individual personality. Therefore, it suggests that students should learn to adjust their psychology, colleges should provide a relaxed campus for students to study and grow, and the society should establish a healthy social cultural environment.
