摘要
人性论历来是中国哲学的一个重要问题,在性善还是性恶的观点上争执不一。孟子提倡"性善论",认为人性生来是善的,要保持并扩充这个"善",要靠教育的作用。于是,在"性善论"基础上,构建起以"明人伦"为最终目的的教育学说。
The theory of human nature has always been an important topic in Chinese philosophy. People disputed the idea on whether human nature was good or evil. Mencius was the first ideologist in Chinese history who advocated "Good Nature Doctrine", who believed that human nature was good when people were born. In order to keep and expand the good nature, everyone should be educated. Thus, Mencius conceived a system of education which aimed to "make clear of the various relationships and rules" on the basic of his "Good Nature Doctrine".
