摘要
在日本国立大学的发展史上,校长的职能、角色及选拔方式都发生过阶段性的发展和变化。这些发展和变化既是国立大学自身发展的体现,同时也是国立大学适应和应对外部环境变化及要求的结果。值得特别关注的是,在法人化改革以来,国立大学校长肩负着大学运营和大学法人经营的双重职责,兼具管理者和经理人的双重角色,集多重权力于一身,形成了一种校长治校的体制。
The role, function, and selection method of the Presidents of National University in Japan has ex perienced great changes in different period of Japanese history. These changes reflected the development of the National University itself as well as results for its adapting to the external environment. It is worth to mention that since the reform of changing the national university into legal personalization, the Presidents of the national university have to play dual roles of both managers and operators, having all substantial power in his hand.
