The Network Intrusion Detection System mentioned in this paper is new generation NIDS. It is based on the protocol analysis technology and combines with the characteristic pattern matching method, and uses the high-speed collectioner to collect the network data flow which is dispensed to multiprocessor for data processing.The system solved effectively the application bottleneck of a tradition NIDS in high-speed network environment.
