This paper introduces the design principle of a 6_1/2-Digit digital muhimeter which owns VXI interface circuit designed to FPGA technology and VIX bus specification. As well as some problems such as how to improve the test speed and accuracy of multimeter are discussed deeply and solved in this paper.
