About the Establishment of Spokesperson System in Colleges

2006年末,教育部要求全国的各级各类学校建立新闻发言人制度;该制度是高校深化改革进一步实施校务公开,坚持依法治校的必然趋势,是树立学校良好形象的重要手段,是加强对外宣传的重要措施;高校在实践中要努力把握新闻发言人制度的基本要求和特点,选拔好新闻发言人,加强对这一制度的建设。

At the end of 2006, the Ministry of Education required spokesperson system be established in all institutions of higher learning in the country. The system is an inevitable trend for higher learning institutions to further publicize administrative affairs and implement legal administration of school affairs. It is an important means to establish the image of the college or university and enhance the publicity. The institution of higher learning should have a proper understanding of the basic requirements and features of the spokesperson system and gives importance to the selection of spokespersons as well as strengthen the efforts in further development of the system.
