摘要
在外语课堂教学中,语言形式和语言意义孰重孰轻,是一对难以调和的矛盾,并导致了教学上的两个极端:或者重形式而轻意义,或者重意义而轻形式,而实际上在语言学习中形式与意义两个要素是缺一不可,不能偏废。本文通过分析语法听写活动过程中学生对语言项目的磋商情况来探讨语法听写如何促进语言形式与意义的协商,解决传统教学中语言意义和形式相脱节的问题。
One of the most contradictory areas of TEFL concerns the extent to which classroom teaching should focus on form or meaning,leading to two extremes: One focuses on form while neglecting meaning, the other focuses on meaning while neglecting form. But it has been argued that an ideal way in the language learning is to combine meaning and form,which are closely related. Through the analysis of the negotiation of language items in completing the task in dictogloss ,this article attempts to explore how dictogloss promotes students to focus on both meaning and form,thus solving the problem of dissociation between form and meaning in TEFL.
