In this paper .based on the print distinctness,the effect of the reading rightness for the bar code is studied. Forthe bar code with non-dot printing. the print distinctness included the spots,Voids and edge roughness will Influences the reading rightness for the readers of the bar code. The limited condition of the spots. Voids and edgeroughness is set up for the readers. For the bar code with the dot printing. according to the optical transfer function. the effect of the properties of the printing paper is studied. The optical transfer function for evaluating theproperties of printing paper is established.
