西柏坡精神之为一种时代精神,就在于它内涵着改革创新的时代要求,体现着中国共产党人认知和实践的统一,是社会主体尤其是中国共产党人自警自律、开拓创新、不懈进取的永恒动力。其时代价值是源于其自身所具有的与时俱进的理论品格。实现其时代价值的实践途径是:将政治文化转化为大众文化;将精神文化转化为理想信念;将思想成果转化为制度成果;将弘扬西柏坡精神落到实处,提升其精神"生产力"。

Xibaipo Spirit is the spirit of the times because it contains the claim of the age for reform and innovation, embodies the unity of knowledge and practice of CPC, and is the forever impetus for strict self-discipline, creative innovation and untiring diligence of CPC. Its values as the spirit of the times come from its theoretical character advancing with the times. The path to realizing these values is to transform the political culture to popular culture, the spirit culture to ideal and faith, and the thought fruit to system fruit, so that Xibaipo Spirit can be practiced in reality and its ＂productive force＂ can be enhanced.
