摘要
Snyder(1974)提出自我监督概念来解释在自我呈现中的个体差异,并编制出一个25项目的自我监督量表来测量这种差异.该文通过研究自我监督量表与社会期望量表、自尊量表和艾森克人格量表之间的相关,结果发现自我监督量表的效标关联效度不高.这提示:自我监督量表可能与自我监督的构念之间存在差距.
Snyder(1974)developed the self-monitoring to intergrate the individual difference in self-presentation, and developed a 25 items scale to measure the difference. This paper examed the relation between the self-monitoring scale and social desirable scale,self-esteem scale, Eysenk personality scale. The results showed that self-monitoring scale' criterion-related validity is low,and it implied that there is a gap between the conceptuation of self-monitoirng and its measure.
