On Vulgarization Trend in Modem Literature—From the Vulgarization Tradition in Chinese Culture

20世纪90年代后,随着社会的经济转型,中国当代文学呈现出不断深化的世俗化审美特征以及欲望化叙事,其中固然有经济繁荣的原因,但从更深的层面,仍然与中国历史上的神圣与世俗之间没有一条明确的界限有关,世俗化的文化传统依然占据着人们的精神生活。

After the 1990s, there is developing a strong aesthetic trend for vulgarization and orectic narration in Chinese traditional literature. This trend cannot be attributed to the prosperity of economy. Some deep annotations of reasons can be discovered in a deeper layer, which is closely connected with the vague limits between heavenliness and commonness. People＇s spiritual life is still mainly oc- cupied by the worldly culture.
