在何叔衡59年的人生历程中,有39年在学校度过,其中有27年都在学校从事教育工作。在乡村私塾学校教书10年,在乡村新式学校教书4年,在省会新式学校教书7年,在湖南自修大学、补习学校、湘江学校教书6年。在这27年的教书生涯中,何叔衡从事了诸多的教育实践活动。

He Shuheng, with a life span of 59 years, spent 39 years in various schools. He did educational work in schools for 27 years： 10 years in village old - style private school, 4 years in village new - style school, 7 years in provin- cial new -style school; 6 years in Hunan Serf- taught University, supplementary school and Xiangjiang School. During these 27 years, he did many educational practice.
