白内障囊外摘除术房水细菌培养的临床观察

Clinical observation of 36 anterior chamber aspirate cultures after ECCE surgery

对36例白内障囊外摘除术抽吸前房水进行细菌培养，其中16例细菌培养阳性，大多为表皮葡萄球菌，菌落的形态很小，绝大多数为10－30个／ml，无1例发生眼内炎。这提示白内障术后前房可清除少量的细菌而不发生服内感染。

Anterior chamber aspirates of 36 patient were cultured,who had extracapsular cataract extraction or inotraocular lens ation. Of 36 patients, 16 had culture-positive anterior chamber aspirates. The most commonly isolated organisms were staphylococcus epidedrmidis. Inoculum sizes were extremely small. No eyes in our study developed endophthalmitis. This shows that the anterior chamber is capable of clearing a low inoculum of bacteria after catalact surgery without the development of ocular inflammmation.
