论洋务时期的中国均势外交

The Idea for the Balance of Power Diplomacy in the Period of Foreign Affair

均势观是产生于西方国家的重要国际政治理论,在洋务时期传入中国,对洋务时期的外交产生重大影响,实际上代表了中国近现代外交发展的方向。虽然均势外交的最后结果的确是失败的、屈辱的,但其运用的过程却有一定的进步性、合理性。

The view of balance of power is an important international political theory of evolving from the western countries, and was introduced to China in foreign affair period, exerted a great influence on the diplomacy in the period of the foreign affair. The balance of power tactics have represented the direction of diplomacy development in modern times of China actually. Though the diplomacy of balance of power is considered as ＂fail＂ and ＂disgraceful＂ at last, its efforts during the diplomatic course should be seen of progress and rationality to certain extent.
