This paper gives a brief introduction to the various meanings of ＂body language＂ in different cultural background by means of a cross-culture study. It analyzes the cultural differences of the eastern and western people, in such aspects as＂Space and Distance＂, ＂Eye Contact and Gaze＂, ＂Touch＂, ＂Gesture＂ and ＂Facial Expression＂, etc. , and expounds the importance of ＂body language＂ in non-language communication.
