摘要
赫索格是索尔·贝娄笔下典型的知识分子代表,在他的身上集中体现了知识分子的矛盾、困惑和中产阶级知识分子人道主义的危机。本文旨在透视赫索格寻求精神家园的心路历程,分析小说中反映的异化主题。
Herzog, one of the intellectual hems in Saul Bellow＇s novels , typically represents the dilemma and perplexity of the bourgeois intellectuals and the crisis of humanitarianism . This thesis aims at examing the soul pilgrimage of Herzog towards spiritual homeland and the theme of alienation reflected in the novel.
