摘要
In cognitive linguistics, metaphor acts as an important tool in cognition. This paper explores and exposes the value of metaphor in English teaching. Thus, metaphor, as a significant way of thinking, not only provides the new way for English teaching, but also proposes the viewpoint that language teaching is one of the fields for cultivating thinking ability and creativity.
认知语言学的隐喻作为人类思维的重要方式之一，认为隐喻是人类认知的重要工具。本文探讨了作为人类思维方式之一的隐喻封英语教学的重要价值，不仅为传统的英语教学模式开拓了新的思路，而且提出了语言教学也是培养思维能力和创新能力的重要阵地的观点。
