Zhi san Zhang Group Initials pronunciation of mediaeval times are multidimensionally performed in Modern Xiang Dialect: some are read as velar initial (k group); some as alveolar initial(t or l group); some as palatal initial ( t group or group), and there are also blade palatal initial ( t group ) and blade-alveolar ( ts group), k group, t group, t group, t group, t group, ts group and l group, does each group's pronunciation go its own way, or is there any internal connection among them? Or is there any clue of historical evolvement among them?
