黄河不仅是一条生命之河,更是一条文明之河。滚滚黄河,从内蒙古托克托县的河口镇掉头南下,像一柄利剑,将黄土高原劈成两半,开出一条深邃的峡谷。东岸的山西省同西岸的陕西省隔河相望,成为两省的天然分界线,因此被称为晋陕峡谷。

It is destined that the Yellow River plays a vital role in the Chinese history. It is not only a river of life, but a river of culture and civilization. The surging river flows from the Hekou Town in Tuoketuo County, Inner Mongolia, down south to Shanxi and Shaanxi provinces, forming a deep gorge on the Loess Plateau, the Jinshan Gorge, a natural boundary between the two provinces.
