The principles of encoding and decoding schemes to regular low - density parity check（LDPC） codes are given in the paper. The BER and decoding complexity performances to regular LDPC codes compared with Turbo code are simulated over AWGN channel given specific code parameters. The results show that regular LDPC codes have good performances over turbo codes for the short and middle transmitting frames.
